Open Mic Live Event

This is where you check out the local newspaper, the CFP calendar, or coffee shops, for an opportunity to present your poetry in a live scenario. For many poets, you have already done this, and congratulations for that.

Many people find public speaking terrifying, however when you're a poet, you need to get over this. You have something to say, and there is nothing more passionate, and exhilerating then hearing the words from the source. Once you do this once, you will do it again, and again and again. Poets at live events are great listeners, and they appreciate anyone who tries something new, and understand your first-time fears - as they all have been there.

Be sure to let us know when you're speaking, and we'll try to get you some support, some friendly faces in the crowd.

Once you have done this, let us know when and where, and you're complete.
