Renga:

Renga - is a continuation on the Haiku philosophy. It is a Japanese linked poetry style, consisting of 100 stanzas, composed by multiple poets at a single sitting. Each stanza of the Renga is like a link in a chain.

It often starts with a Haiku format of 5,7,5 (3 lines, # of syllables) and the next poet will add a 7,7 (2 lines, 7 syllables each) stanza. The cycle is then repeated.

So participating poets - you will go to the week 3 section in the Education Forum, and watch the cycle, and you will continue from the last posting in a Renga fashion. Have fun!

The first one I will start us off with;
