Peter G. Gilchrist is a lawyer in Edmonton, Alberta whose creative outlet is
poetry. His poetry has been published in a number of print and on-line
publications, most recently appearing in the anthology "New Classic Poems",
compiled and edited by Neil Harding McAlister and released in April, 2005.
Peter enjoys parenting, music, soccer, camping and whitewater canoeing. His
love of canoeing is reflected in the volume "Paddle Tracks", which is a

His latest book "Paddle Tracks"
There is something about being on a river that stirs the soul. Paddling is poetry unspoken. This book brings together three poets, paddlers all, to share their craft with you. They introduce you to the camaraderie that exits between paddlers everywhere, regale you with tales of their adventures, and introduce you to the rivers that they love.
From New Brunswick, Ontario, and Alberta, Canada, these paddlers imbue their poetry with passion, excitement and humour in a tradition of storytelling that is not seen too often anymore. Whether you're a paddler yourself, or just have an appreciation for stories well told, you will want to buy this book
