Joanne Joyce Williams was born in Toronto, Ontario, where she lives with her husband
Donald. Like many of us, poetry came into her life early as a child of eight,
while she was sitting under the table while Mother sang. As a ripe young woman
of 90 years young, she was inspired to create POETIC BEAUTY which is a
story Joanne wrote in the hopes of giving teens
the courage to stand up and say no to abuse when dating. This story is about a
teen who finds herself in a bad situation, and is courageous enough to look
honestly at her feelings. As she realizes the danger that would confront her
if she chose to continue in this volatile relationship, she knew there were choices
to be made, and she alone must find the courage to make them.
