First Canadian Federation of Poets Members Anthology

Since we are dedicated to the advancement of poetry and poets, we have decided to make
our first anthology called "The Future Looks Bright". With the words from enough poets,
and a resurgency of the prominence of poetry in society, it certainly will be.
So send us your poems, about anything that you think 'looks bright' in your future, or
the future of mankind, society, anything you feel compelled to share.
No submission fee.
You asked to be published, now all you have to do is earn it!

Eligibility:
Any poem, any length
Submitted work must be done by a single author
Submitted work must be unpublished elsewhere, simultaneous submits not allowed
If in another language, english version must also accompany
Must be a member of the CFP
The judges' decision as to a poems inclusion is binding
Must meet selection criteria of high imagery, solid metaphors and quality work. Poetry
that takes the poet to a higher level of writing, and touches the reader.
Note: Not all submissions will be accepted, this is based on the selection criteria.

Editor - Tracy Lynn Repchuk
Publisher staff - InnerSurf Press
Decision of the judges must be unanimous
Submission Details
Submit up to 3 poems via email to Tracy Lynn Repchuk - Editor
Once accepted, send those same poems via mail to: InnerSurf Press, 78 Wheeler Ave. Toronto, ON M4L 3V2
- Please note both the above steps need to happen, as the email goes to the editor who decides which
work is included, and the printed version needs to be at the publisher to ensure correct line
breaks and formatting at layout time
You will be notified via email they have arrived, and if/when they are accepted
The Editor will contact you with any necessary changes or suggestions
Once completed, you will be asked to view a PDF version of your work for approval
Antbology Timeline:
Contest deadline for postmark is June 30th, 2005
Selectees will be notified by July 15th, 2005
Editing, cover page, layout, design, ISBN, poet sign off, galley proof, pre-orders
Sent to printers
Book will release December 15th, 2005
