  • September - Well for many the cool taste of fall starts to present itself, and the final traces of summer start to leave our lips - but alas the next season of vibrant life and colours approaches. I had such a great summer with the kids and in our new home in the Verdugo Hills of California - despite the fact the last week over 200,000 acres have burned over a 50 mile radius. I posted a picture on my blog as we had smoke clouds that were 40 feet high behind our house.

All of this was going on while the HGTV film crew was here taping a renovation episode of me tiling the house. I got to hang out with Eric Stromer, then all sorts of interesting people dropped by such as Jenn Hoffman - who appeared on Donald Trump's The Apprentice, and Carolyn Lawrence the voice of Sandy the Squirrel on Sponge Bob Square Pants. My blog has pictures and stories.

There has been tons of poetry events all over. I hope you have had a chance to either attend some or even better, participate and share your work. Your voice, your message is what is going to help to create a better world.

Enjoy the month and keep on creating  :)
