CFP MEMBER TESTIMONIAL
Donelda Kent, CFP Member, Halifax, NS
Kent Publications & Productions
"I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the Canadian Federation of
Poets and especially Tracy Repchuk.
As a member, I've thoroughly enjoyed my time spent with the
Oakville Chapter in Ontario. Then, when I told Tracy I was planning on
starting a Chapter in Nova Scotia once I got moved,
the support I received was unbelievable. I could not have done this without
all the advice and help received by Tracy for our startup here in Halifax.
My sincere thanks to an amazing lady for putting this society together and
the success she has had with promoting poetry. I only see good things in
the future for all of us.
I would also like to extend my thanks to George Arnold for my learning
experiences in Oakville as well as his motivational talents.
Lastly, I would like to thank Betty Dobson for co-chairing this project
with me. Her wonderful talents with posters, banners and all her
managerial skills, played a fantastic role in launching the Halifax
Chapter.
Thanks to everyone in The Canadian Federation of Poets for all their
contributions."

Well I just returned from Hollywood California where the Artists for a Better
World Festival took place, and I would recommend starting to plan to come next
year, because it is so
much fun, the learning is exceptional, there is an art show that goes on
during it where work is awarded, and the weather and tourism are awesome.
If you're not already a member, it is a great time to join the CFP and be eligible
for our next anthology. Our first anthology, The Future Looks Bright, had our highest
grossing sales in InnerSurf history, was ordered in large quantities into the
library system, and is completely SOLD OUT!
Check out the benefits and join.

Feature Book Announce

Poetic Beauty by Joanne Joyce Green
|
POETIC BEAUTY is a story Joanne wrote in the hopes of giving teens
the courage to stand up and say no to abuse when dating. This story is about a
teen who finds herself in a bad situation, and is courageous enough to look
honestly at her feelings. As she realizes the danger that would confront her
if she chose to continue in this volatile relationship, she knew there were choices
to be made, and she alone must find the courage to make them.

Through The Ages by Michaela Sefler
|
Through The Ages is a compilation of Inspirational Poetry, where Michaela
taps into her spirituality, to reflect on inspiration drawn from the ancient Qabbala,
scripture, nature, and creation - to express a thirst and desire for knowledge,
transcendence, and a longing for unity and completion.
She conveys desires, hopes, and pain as legitimate means for forgiveness and
deliverance. She expresses a longing for a redeemer, and a perfect hero
and alludes to biblical figures as such personas and archetypes in our lives.
