I love living in a place that never gets cold. When I say cold, it does
get to 42 degrees at night, and that does cause people to wear winter
coats, boots, mitts, hats and scarves. But coming from Canada,
that's spring. :)
This month I am gone for most of it. Tons of speaking
engagements including my first return to an event to be held in Toronto,
Canada.

The Emily Isaacson Institute was created to further literature
and the arts. It was founded by poet Emily Isaacson, author of
The Oracle, The Black Swan, and Constantinople. You can purchase
her books through her website. She is also an analogue
photographer and designed The Lion and The Unicorn Tapestry
Series online. She is inviting poets and writers to become
members of the institute, whereupon they can join her writer's
guild or meet locally for her artists group. She also invites
artists to visit The Waterhouse Foundation, at
www.waterhousefoundation.com, where they can become
registered Canadian artists. You can google Emily and find out
she is world famous, and has been commended by Prince William.

Are you a CFP member and write articles? Send them in too. They
can be considered for this newsletter as well. That is free publicity
and promotion whether you are a poet, editor or publicist. The articles
should be how to, tips and tricks, getting published type. Anything that

FEATURED POETRY CALL
If ever there was a
topic near and dear to my heart it is travel.
The Poetry of Travel anthology is about your
voyages and journeys whether in your mind, your dreams, or a real
destination, traveling is a past time that changes lives.
Remember growing up and being crammed in the
family vehicle as you crossed the country and stared at the
transitional landscapes.
What about your first trip without your parents
or family? Exotic locations or European backpacking treks of self
discovery.
Everywhere you go leaves an impression on who you
are and the experiences you can share with others.
Now it's
time to share with us.
The Poetry of Travel knows you have a poem
to share - so send your submissions before it closes to:
Lynn Tait - lynnt@federationofpoets.com
CFP ADDRESS UPDATES
