March 2010 - The months are just screaming by this year, it is like time
is accelerating, and the CFP is moving along with it. I have been around
the world already this year, and had the computer crash that had the
March newsletter on it (so this is a rebuilt edition.) This next year I
will return to the UK to speak 3 more times, along with 4 cities in
Australia, Singapore, Dubai, back to Ireland, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia, Amsterdam, Spain, Jakarta, and more points in between. One of
these days I may actually get a speaking gig in Canada - wouldn't that
be nice :)
Two great NEW Federations one for Hindi Writers has formed as we
continue our global reach, and the Toronto Bayview Chapter.
Remember we have to have all members move to an
automated payment system - ie. paypal - no more cheques can be
processed. If you haven't already done this - it is time to
renew/join using this method so you can continue to be a part
of a great organization

Thanks
Enjoy the month and keep on creating :)

CFP Member Nikhil Parekh Gets Nobel
Prize for Literature Nomination
Ever wonder how you get nominated for the Nobel Prize for Literature - well ask no
further than Tracy Repchuk, the Federation of Poets founder and president whose
nomination of Nikhil Parekh was accepted.
"Federation of Poets member Nikhil Parekh is one of the most stellar and
productive poets I have met, and given the nature of his work, and his tireless
effort to expose injustice, promote peace and make the world a better place, I
felt it was the best honor that could be bestowed on such a member. In addition
to his 8 world-wide records for Poetry, he continues to move poetry into the
mainstream and evoke action from those around him with his inspiring words."
