MEMBER TESTIMONIAL
David Chirko - CFP member - "Tracy is an indefatigable and creative young woman,
balancing family responsibilities with her own individual writing and the operating of the
organization she founded: the Canadian Federation of Poets (CFP). Here she executes everything
with passion and finesse and that is why membership in the CFP has experienced a tremendous
upshoot in a relatively brief time. With the inclusion of Poetry Canada, a colourful and intriguing magazine;
the two exemplifies how art, poetry and the philosophy of composing can be fashioned on common ground."

Ahhhhh... The week of love. Either you love it, or hate it - whichever
it is though, I'm sure there's a poem in there somewhere.
Well for some reason this Valentine's I happened to come across a lot
of love, which was wonderful. Since having kids over 10 years ago, there didn't seem much
time for me and my husband, but some miracle happened and all three
kids had a sleep-over and play date the next day; this past week-end.
We had a Valentine's dinner at our church on Saturday, complete with
awesome entertainment (including myself who was the lone poet in the crowd), a Valentine's breakfast at a restaurant (after all
we were without children), then the Canadian Federation and
The Ontario Poetry Society Valentine's Love In held in Oakville was
on Sunday! It was a fantastic event, the room was practically standing
room only, and love was in the air. So either continue to enjoy and
savour this week and its loving nature, give yourself some special love and
attention, or grin and bear it and know it is only one week!

The Future Looks Bright anthology is shipping - so if you have

E-MAIL SYSTEM IS DOWN
Just a note that our e-mail system has been down since 9:45am Monday February 13th, 2006. This has
affected every one of our companies, so if we have not replied to you in the last couple of days, this is why.
If you don't get a reply from us within 24 hours on an issue, that means something has happened, and in this case,
our ISP is having major issues. Gratefully our websites are still up, so you can still check out activities, get
information, place orders, etc. It is my guess they were hit with a virus, and since we have 15 websites with them, and all
of the e-mail is down, it must be big; otherwise their backup system would have taken care of it in a matter of hours.
This is only the second time it has happened to us on a major scale in our 21 year history. Last time all the machines
were stolen from the building during a partnership dispute (that was in the old days before big time security facilities-1996).
So we are using the newsletter to let you know about this, and other things going on; as for the newsletter we use a third-party vendor.
We ask you are patient with us during this time, and the remainder of the week while we sort out what will
eventually arrive after they have repaired. If it is very important, call us at 416.694.6347. Thanks in advance.
