POETRY CANADA
LAST EDITION
COMING SOON
The next and last issue of Poetry Canada is coming
shortly.
It has the interview with Priscila Uppal - Griffin
Poetry Short List finalist.

Yes you read that right, this will be the last edition.
One of my favourite things to do was creating Poetry
Canada magazine, and I was proud of every edition. However this is a
volunteer job, and Poetry Canada simply takes up too much time. The
layout is complex, printing very expensive, and mailing it was a time
consuming and an ever increasing costly task. I was blessed to have the help of George Arnold since I
moved to California to distribute them but the production
is simply too much for me, given how much I travel now.
So this is the last edition, and I will come up
with easier ways to get the word out through article distribution in the
newsletter, and teleseminar recordings of interviews you'll find
interesting.
Thanks so much for sharing this part of our poetry
journey, for expanding the heritage of Canada and its global presence in
the poetry world, and for participating with your submissions.
It has been an honor to have started Poetry Canada,
and created the many editions over the years.
Back issues are available, once they're gone that's
it.
Here is the link to any that are left.

The Emily Isaacson Institute was created to further literature
and the arts. It was founded by poet Emily Isaacson,
author of The Oracle, The Black Swan, and Constantinople. You
can purchase her books through her website. She is also an
analogue photographer and designed The Lion and The Unicorn
Tapestry Series online. She is inviting poets and writers to
become members of the institute, whereupon they can join her
writer's guild or meet locally for her artists group.

FEATURED POETRY CALL
For me there isn't
much more important than Spirituality - the pursuit of a higher meaning
or purpose.
The Poetry of Spirituality anthology is about
what that means to you. It isn't about religion, although for many
that can be a part of it, but it is more about how you live your
life. The morals, values, and ethics you carry with you.
It's the higher purpose you seek, the passions
you explore, the reason you are here.
It's how you look at things, savour your day,
celebrate life.
It's the message you spread to others, and the
effort you take to make a difference in the world.
Everywhere you go leaves an impression on who you
are and the experiences you can share with others.
Now it's
time to share with us.
The Poetry of Spirituality knows you have a poem
to share - so send your submissions before it closes to:
