Welcome
April - one of the most exciting months for poets as APRIL is
POETRY MONTH. April is my favourite month as well because I
was born in April so it turns into a big celebration month in our house.
This year is especially electric because of the anthology call that is
getting coordinated, and the launch of my second book
31 Days to Millionaire Marketing Miracles. I have
actually had people offer me more money if I sold it to them right now.
What's really cool is when the book launches, I'll be at an Internet
Summit for 5 days in Atlanta, and then I'm off to New York to meet with
some 'book people' in the business' to talk "The Poetry of..." I am
so glad to be sharing this experience with you, and there is still time
to reserve your copy for April 13th at
www.amazonleap.com to
qualify for over $625 worth of free bonus items
just for buying on that day. LAST CHANCE!
$17.95 will get you $625 worth of Free gifts.

CFP POET OF THE YEAR! |
|
Canadian Federation of Poets
Poet of the Year for 2006
Every April there is a special announcement we make that
honors a poet for particular extra effort with respect to the
mission and advancement of the Canadian Federation of Poets, and
poetry. This year was the hardest ever to select, given
the fact that many poets have really started to help and support
the CFP so that it becomes one of the most esteemed poetry
organizations around the world.
It is my great honor to present to you the CFP 2006 Poet of the
Year - Nikhil Parekh.
Nikhil has really stepped up his participation
with the CFP this year by rallying on behalf of the CFP for
government recognition, constant participation on the CFP
Forums, and single-handedly taking on the country of India to
help promote Canada and its poetic talent.
He is an avid user of Blogs, and Social Media
sites and continues to promote the CFP using these latest
methods of communication and online networking. He
runs the India Federation of Poets through these mediums, and
represents our organization eloquently and respectfully.
Nikhil is a two-time Limca world-record holder
for his over 400 books of poetry, and his recognition with many
government and high-ranking officials for his use of poetry for
peace.
